Danzio, great product, good peeps, and great customer service.
this new motor would be their 402 brutus motor but I had just bought the new heads last year and wanted to use as much of my new stuff from the 383 rebuild last season, their brutus motor has different heads than what I have now.

August 27th 2007  ( After first trip )

I had the car out this weekend with my new Danzio LS2 402 stroker motor and all I can say is DAMN!!! what a fricken blast, with the torque this thing has I can for the most part stay in 3rd gear and cruise at 25mph and stab the throttle and pull out of a hole and be doing 60+ mph in no time while still in 3rd gear, very comfortable power band.
I started out 5 seasons ago with a Redline 430hp ls1 package, thought that was great, upgraded a season later to the Redline 510 hp package and things got better, then I did the Danzio 383 stroker motor and now wheelies came pretty easy, could not quite do the low end 3rd gear stuff but dang it was quick, now with the 402 stroker I am in heaven, no flat ground wheelies but that is fine as it keeps the power very controllable in an emergency situation.
I suppose I could have just started out with the bigger h/p motor years ago but I am kinda glad that I did it in progression to see what a difference that the additional h/p can make and how it changes they way your car will drive and handle.
For anybody thinking about an upgrade in h/p and torque I would say go for it, the car is so much easier to drive and a wheelie here and there is kinda fun too.

Thanks Chris and everyone at Danzio for a bitchin motor.
Screw caffeine standing next to the dyno when that baby was screaming will wake you up. I had been up for about 30 hours when Chris did the final pull (gotta love working graveyard 25bangin.gif ) and I felt like I could go another 30.
Huddy thanks for the tires, we might have shaved a couple miles off their life span. I'll make it up to you with a couple beer.gif in Glamis. Sorry you're gonna miss the maiden voyage.

Just wanted to say a BIG thanks to Peter and the boys at DanZio. Had the Mystery Machine down at their shop for some dyno time and man oh man what a difference. Just a stock LS1 but the tune and time were worth evey penny! The car ran better, faster, and the extra RPM made dune runs that much more enjoyable.
Thanks again DanZio...my new horsepower head quarters! Highly recommended! burnout.gif

I bought my Porsche 930 Turbo in January 2005. Since I purchased this car I have upgraded the Turbo, Intercooler and suspension. I was referred to a reputable High Performance Porsche shop that installed an upgraded Intercooler and turbo. When I drove the car home it started leaking oil from the new Turbo. I called Chris at Danzio to see if he could take a look at the problem because I didn't want to go through another week and a half waiting process just to get the oil leak repaired by the company that installed the turbo, and I knew Chris is one of the best in the business for turbo work. I brought it to Chris and he fixed the problem while I waited.

A few weeks later I started having a boost control problem, not related to anything DanZio did for me. I called Chris who again spent time on the phone with me to explain what I needed to remedy the problem. I made an appointment and brought it in. Chris had the job finished within the time he said it would. Then ran my car on the Dyno and not only confirmed that everything he did performed above my expectation, he also verified that the car was running at a safe air to fuel mixture and how much power the car made. I was impressed to say the least and I am a Porsche Owner, If you know the type. I'm sure it all comes with the enthusiasm knowledge and experience Chris demonstrated.

Danzio will definitely have all my business. I'm looking forward to bringing in my Porsche GT1 project for Danzio to make some real horse power.

I recently took my Tatum Spyder with Rotary motor 13B to Danzio to be rebuilt. While it was there I asked Chris & Josh about installing an intercooler. They said no problem. I was shocked because everyone else said they couldn't or weren't interested in the work. While the rail was at Danzio's shop I would call and Chris would always answer the phone. He would call me with progress reports and offered to email me pictures of the progress on my car. This is all a big deal because I am in Tucson Az and Danzio is in California. The last time I took my car to a very very reputable motor builder in California I could never get ahold of them and they didn't really seem intereseted in my business.

I got the car back for the easter holiday it hall's ass. The motor runs better than ever before. Chris even called to see how it ran. If anyone is needing motor work I would highly recommend checking in with Chris & Josh at Danzio.

A big thanks goes out to Chris & Josh. It was definately worth the drive!!
